Philippines – Are we ready for same-sex unions? Yes! We should afford our LGBTQ friends and loved ones the rights that have been denied them for so long.

Historically Catholic countries like Argentina, Spain, and Brazil have all legalized same-sex marriage. We’re still playing catch-up.

The Philippines is a diverse country populated by people with many different religions and backgrounds, and it’s time we acknowledged that. Accepting alternative lifestyles doesn’t take away from more traditional couples. All this does is elevate our LGBTQ friends!

When we embrace sei-katsu-sha, we learn to take into account the whole person and their sexual orientation is part of what makes each person unique. Love is love and now we are starting to recognize and codify that.
