Eljay is a volunteer lawyer and the Legal Advocacy Officer of Rainbow Rights Philippines. He is one of the founding members and former VP of the UP Outlaws, an organization of LGBTQIA+ law students in the UP College of Law and their allies. He has been active in the advocacy for equal rights since 2016.
